The most profound moment of my life was when I learned how art and science meet at the intersection of design.
For many years I was ignorant of this and I agonized at the thought of being forced to choose one or the other. The artist in me was hungry to create, while the scientist in me strived to understand the world around me. Everything changed when I realized I could use art and science alike by serving as an ambassador between client goals and user needs.
I spent years studying ways to apply the human psyche’s relationship to art. I wanted to comprehend how pixels affect our emotions, how subtle visual cues guide our decisions, and how we navigate visual landscapes.
This research ultimately came together to provide insight on what makes a seamless visual experience.
Effortlessly intuitive products became my mission. To achieve this I knew I had to become familiar with logic and beauty, both with equal fluency. This is how we understand the relationship between art and science.
Now I have evolved and grown into a designer who is passionate about user psychology just as I am about breathtaking aesthetics. I thrive on the challenges of translating complicated ideas into comprehensible experiences, and with these challenges I am eager to grow further as I continue building upon my skills.
